Terms & Conditions of Entry
By registering for, purchasing a ticket for, or attending this event (“Event”), you agree
to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Admission
Entry to the Event is strictly subject to the discretion of the Event Organiser, Stirling Media Pty Ltd (“Organiser”).
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the Event at any time, without refund, for any reason including (but not limited to) non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions. All attendees must be registered and hold a valid ticket or badge.
2. Age Restrictions
This is a business event. Entry is strictly limited to persons aged 18 years and over.
No persons under the age of 18 are permitted under any circumstances, including during event build (move-in) or breakdown (move-out).
3. Attendee Conduct and Commercial Activity
Attendees must behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Attendees are strictly prohibited from:
- Promoting, marketing, or selling products or services
- Conducting business development, lead generation, or commercial solicitation unless they are an official sponsor or exhibitor of the Event.
Any attendee found in breach of this condition may be removed from the Event without refund and may be refused entry to future events.
4. Ticket Classification and Misuse
The Organiser reserves the right to review, verify and reclassify attendee registrations.
If an attendee has registered under an incorrect category (including but not limited to misrepresenting themselves as a “buyer” or “non-supplier”), the Organiser may:
- Cancel the ticket
- Require payment of the correct ticket type
- Refuse entry to the Event
5. Catering and Expenses
Food and beverages are not included with standard tickets.
Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages unless their ticket type explicitly includes catering (e.g. VIP or hospitality access).
6. Photography, Filming and Media
Photography, video recording and live streaming will take place at the Event.
By attending, you:
- Acknowledge that you may be photographed or filmed
- Grant the Organiser the right to use your image, likeness, voice or company name/logo in any media for promotional, marketing or commercial purposes, without compensation or notice
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you should not attend the Event.
7. Intellectual Property
All content presented at the Event (including presentations, materials and displays) remains the intellectual property of the Organiser, speakers, exhibitors or respective owners.
Such content must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
8. Data Use, Privacy and Badge Scanning
By registering for or attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your personal information will be used by the Organiser for event administration, communications and related marketing activities
- Your details will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties
You may choose to share your details with sponsors, exhibitors or partners by:
- Allowing your badge or QR code to be scanned- Entering competitions, prize draws or activations
- Providing your details directly to them
By doing so, you consent to being contacted by that party.
9. Communication and Marketing Consent
By registering for, purchasing a ticket for, or attending the Event, you expressly consent to the Organiser contacting you using the details provided, including your email address and mobile phone number.
This may include:
- Event updates and important information
- Ticketing communications and confirmations
- Event reminders and logistical updates
- Promotional information relating to this Event and future events organised by the Organiser
Communication may be sent via:
- Email
- SMS/text message
- Telephone call
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe function or by contacting the Organiser directly.
10. Event App and Acceptable Use
Where an Event App or attendee list is provided, attendees must use any accessible information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Attendees must not:
- Use Event data for unsolicited bulk communications
- Harvest, scrape, copy or extract attendee data
- Build marketing databases from Event information
Breaches may result in removal from the Event and exclusion from future events.
11. Program Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to:
- Change the Event program, schedule, speakers, exhibitors or venue
- Cancel, postpone or modify the Event
All speakers, sessions and features are subject to change without notice.
12. Tickets and Entry Conditions
Tickets/badges:
- Are non-transferable unless otherwise approved
- Must not be copied, resold, or misused
- May be refused if damaged, invalid, or previously used
Lost or stolen tickets remain the responsibility of the ticket holder.
13. Refund Policy
a) All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
b) If you receive a promotional code from one of our speakers, sponsors, or partners after you have already purchased a ticket, refunds or retrospective discounts cannot be applied. However, you are welcome to share the promotional code with a colleague.
c.) If the Event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, any remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
14. Speaker Participation
If a ticket holder who is not a commercial sponsor of the Event is subsequently invited to participate in the Event as a speaker, panellist or moderator, no refund of ticket fees will be provided. Participation as a speaker or panellist is considered a professional and promotional benefit to the speaker and is entirely separate from the purchase of a ticket to attend the Event. A paid ticket provides access to the Event and associated benefits, while an invitation to speak is granted at the Organiser's discretion as a separate opportunity to contribute to the program.
15. Guest passes and ticket eligibility
Any complimentary guest pass, invitation, or ticket allocation provided to a sponsor, exhibitor, speaker, or supporter is issued for a specific Ticket Type and may only be used by individuals who meet the eligibility requirements for that Ticket Type.
Sponsors and exhibitors must not distribute complimentary guest passes to individuals who would otherwise be required to purchase a different Ticket Type. For example, complimentary guest passes intended for customers, clients, end users, buyers or invited guests must not be provided to suppliers, consultants, vendors, competitors, exhibitors, sponsors or other commercial service providers.
Exhibitor Stand Passes are strictly limited to the exhibitor's own employees who are directly involved in staffing the exhibitor's stand. Exhibitor Stand Passes must not be transferred, sold, assigned or provided to any third party, customer, supplier, partner or other attendee.
The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, refuse, revoke or reclassify any pass or registration that has been allocated or used contrary to these Terms and Conditions. Where a pass is revoked or reclassified, the attendee may be refused entry or required to purchase the appropriate Ticket Type before being granted entry.
16. Health, Safety and Venue Rules
Attendees must comply with all:
- Venue rules and regulations
- Health and safety requirements
- Directions from Event staff and venue personnel
The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person acting in an unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate manner, including intoxication.
17. Force Majeure
The Organiser is not liable for any failure or delay in delivering the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, natural disasters, public health events, pandemics or other force majeure events.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Organiser is not liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense incurred by attendees in connection with the Event
- This includes (but is not limited to) travel, accommodation, business loss, personal injury, property damage or interactions with third parties
Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk.
19. Verification and Compliance
The Organiser reserves the right to contact attendees to:
- Verify registration details
- Confirm ticket classification or eligibility
- Request supporting information (e.g. business email validation)
Failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation of registration or refusal of entry.18. Governing Law
